Sting JSC distributes product range of approximately 5000 items - medicines, medical devices and supplies, cosmetics and baby foods. Since 2003 the company has built a new modern warehouse area of 4800 square meters meeting the requirements of "Good Distribution Practice". The company employs over 450 highly qualified employees. The car park has over 155 transport units. Sting JSC has 5 warehouses - in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas and Razgrad.

At the beginning of 2004 the volume of business had increased significantly and the previous IT solution reached the limits of its capacity.

Information system offers important advantages: flexible implementation of various commercial terms, facilitate the sales process, which at times increases the permeability of the system. Thanks to that Sting JSC observed 15% increase in sales volume in the first three months after the implementation of the new system.
The system uses 50 different criteria in defining commercial terms - one-dimensional and two-dimensional scales for discounts and their association with different levels of hierarchical organization of the main nomenclatures. Methods for determining quantitative promotions using different criteria - based on the quantity of the particular product, in aggregate quantity of several products, turnover - gathered for a period or in a separate purchase. Original amount of promotion may be fixed or calculated based on one-dimensional and two-dimensional scales.
Quality Control
Control points are defined in the nodes of the process of expedition. Through them the client can monitor the time and the quality of the process.

Headquarter and the regional branches in the country communicate through VPN. Provider of Internet access is TPN and leased lines of 64 Kb are used.
